Lifestyle Archive

Lifestyle is our longest running youth engagement event within Humberside Police. We are the only force who run a project like this and, since its inception in 1989, it is one we are proud to continue to be involved with. Each year we look forward to seeing what the young people of our communities can do over the summer and with the help and support or our sponsors and donators we continue to make Lifestyle available to all young people aged 10 – 18 in the Humberside Area. 

Since 1989, Lifestyle has inspired our young people to make a difference to their community with a range of innovative, fun-filled and inspiring projects across their summer holidays. Every year, we meet young people who are determined to make their neighbourhoods a better place to live, demonstrating great organisation and teamwork to achieve their Lifestyle aims. From awareness campaigns to cleaning up public spaces, from raising money for charities to supporting community centres, from creating memorials to leaving Kindness Rocks, from raising money for a defibrillator to helping out at care homes, from road safety campaigns to donating care packages – the list of young people’s amazing summer actions is humbling.
